My long-deteriorating roof finally got to the point where I had to do something about it last week. I had several recommendations for Rodney S. Bailey, who has been doing new roofs and roof repair in PG and Charles counties for many years. He came over promptly, inspected the roof and faxed me an estimate, which was much less than I had imagined it would be. I'm told his prices are about average. He came yesterday and put on the new roof and it looks great. He was very attentive to detail and very informative about the condition of my old roof. He also was very knowledgeable about how the various shingle colors would look once they are on the roof (there are some subtleties to this). So he did a nice job and I'm well pleased with the work and the price.

| Does he handle roofs other than shingle, like metal? |

I don't know whether he does non-shingle roofs or not. I'm sure he'll be glad to discuss it with you, if you give him a call. If he doesn't do them, he knows a lot of people in various areas of home construction and renovation, so he can probably recommend someone whose work he knows.
