Membership Dues

All owners in the Moyaone are stewards of both our individual properties and the shared community assets that make living here both practical and enjoyable. Through the Moyaone Association, we maintain and repair our gravel roads and culverts, and remove snow when needed, giving us reliable access to and from our homes. Through the Moyaone Association, we maintain and repair our pool, the Wagner Community Center, and the outdoor kitchen/picnic area, which we can then enjoy as a community. Through the Moyaone Association, we join forces to maintain and improve our property values.

This is why all property owners must recognize and meet their obligation to support the Moyaone Association by paying annual membership dues.

2024 Annual Moyaone Reserve Association Residential Consolidated Fee

  • $820: Lot with residence (full membership)
  • $160: Lot without residence (associate membership)

Membership single payments are due by February 1, 2024

Payment plan

10 payments of $82 can be made each month from February to November. Please contact the Moyaone Comptroller for the necessary forms. NOTE: A payment plan must be initiated by February 1, 2024.

Those who paid with automatic bank withdrawals last year may already be registered for 2024. Please check with your bank or Moyaone Comptroller to confirm or stop payments.

The Annual Consolidated Fee covers the following:

Both full and associate memberships

  • All roads maintenance and grading services, ensuring safety and accessibility for residents and emergency vehicles.
  • Snow removal for all of our roads.
  • Access to the Wagner Community Center including playground, covered pavilion, cook shack, picnic area, basketball court & playing fields. Free WiFi is available at the pool, community center, and parking lot. Maintenance of the building and grounds.
  • A subscription to our monthly community e-newsletter known as “Smoke Signals.”

Full membership only

  • One vote per household on all matters brought to a vote by the Moyaone Association.
  • Membership to the community swimming pool for the entire household. Pool maintenance, water quality, and safety.
  • One-time private rental of community building, Commons picnic area or pool.
  • Access to community gardens (based on plot availability).

Membership Benefits

The Moyaone Reserve offers its residents “nature-made” benefits that are hard to come by in many Washington DC-area neighborhoods today: space, privacy, peace, scenery, and tree cover, just to name a few. However, not all benefits of the Moyaone Reserve grow on trees. Road maintenance, facilities maintenance, and the community’s e-newsletter are just a few of the benefits offered to residents through the Moyaone Association. Annual dues and contributions from residents are vital to making these benefits available for years to come. Please take a moment to show your love for the community by joining the Moyaone Association below.

  • One vote per household on all matters brought to vote by the Moyaone Association twice yearly
  • Year-round private road maintenance (i.e., grading, snow removal);
  • One household membership to the Moyaone Community Pool;
  • Year-round access to the Moyaone Commons (Wagner Community Center, Hollyfield Complex, Cook Shack, Tiki Bar, and Moyaone Courts and Playing Fields;
  • Community Garden Membership as plot openings are available;
  • One subscription to the Moyaone Association’s monthly Smoke Signals e-newsletter.
